Rev Herens (Oupa) Nkoana – An introduction to parenting God’s way

Rev Nkoana is minister of the Word (BTh) in the Reformed Church Ramotse, Maubane and Carousel View at Hammanskraal. He is married to Monica and the Lord has blessed them with two boys, Tshepo (17 years) and Thabang (16 years). His presentation will focus on Ephesians 6:4, ‘Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.’

Magda and her husband, Morné, are thankful for the three children whom the Lord has entrusted to them. She has a passion for education and holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education. She is currently a lecturer at Aros.  She and her family are members in the Reformed Church Meintjieskop.

André and Ellie have been married for 11 years and have three cheerful boys (9, 7, and 3 years old). André is a mechanical engineer and Ellie a foundation phase teacher turned stay-at-home mom. They are members in the Reformed Church Wonderboompoort.

Dr Louisa Stoker-Braun – Moving away from destructive interparental conflict

Louisa is the coach and counsellor behind Confident 2 Thrive (see confident2thrive.com). She holds a PhD in Pastoral Counselling and has many years of experience in areas such as play therapy, teenager life coaching, and parent coaching. She is a member in the Reformed Church Rietvallei and the mother of two girls.

Rev JC Potgieter – Parenting by God’s grace, you can only give what you have

Rev Potgieter is minister of the Word in the Reformed Church Tshwane. He holds a BTh (Hons) in Bible Languages as well as a MDiv from the NWU. He and his wife, Esmari, have two sons in heaven and one son (1 year old) in their home.
